1. The Motion Picture

Released: 7-12-1979
Stardate: 7412.6

An old earth probe Voyager comes back modified as V'ger, threatening the safety of earth and it's inhabitants searching for what it thinks is it's god/creator, bonds with humans to gain creativity and vanishes.

2. The Wrath of Kahn

Released: 4-6-1982
Stardate: 8130.3

Khan (TOS episode "Space Seed") returns for revenge for Kirk exiling his group on a desert world. He steals the USS Reliant and attacks the Enterprise. He is destroyed in the Mutara nebula igniting the Genesis device, while spock gave his life to save the crew.

3. The Search for Spock

Released: 1-6-1984
Stardate: 8210.3

Kirk learns that Spock's essence is stored in McCoy, to which he breaks Starfleet regulations, stealing the Enterprise, and goes to the Genesis planet to recover spock's body. Meanwhile, the Klingons attack the USS Grissom who investigates the Genesis planet. The Enterprise is destroyed, and Spock is revived on Vulcan. 4. The Voyage Home Released: 26-11-1986
Stardate: 8390.0

The crew travels back to 1986 to bring back whales to appease the "Probe", to which is decimating earth in it's search for whales. Kirk is demoted for actions in "The Search for Spock", degraded from admiral to captain, and given command of the Enterprise NCC 1701-A, newly commissioned.

5. The Final Frontier

Released: 9-6-1989
Stardate: 8454.1

The Enterprise is hijacked by Spock's brother Sybok to go to the center of the galaxy to find god. Sybok gets killed in the process.

6. The Undiscovered Country

Released: 6-12-1991
Stardate: 9521.6

A Klingon and Starfleet peace conference is interrupted by a saboteur aboard the Enterprise. Kirk and McCoy are tried in a Klingon court, sentenced to a work camp, rescued, and brought the offending Klingons and a Vulcan to justice.
